Art and craft is a productive hobby and good way to express your abilities. Lots of objects can be crafted with ordinary things especially with duct tape. Initially duct tape was introduces as adhesive tape but art and craft has polished its use greatly. A large number of objects can be made with duct tape here is a unique idea for creating a beautiful DIY duct tape hat with it. For making hat you need:
- White and red duct tape
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Large and small plates for stencils
- Self heating mat
Now in first step make a double sided sheet from white tape strips placing them slightly overlapped larger than the large plate. Trace out the circle on this sheet using large and small plate for making the bottom piece of hat.
Create another sheet using strips of red duct tape as long as want the height of hat. Its width should be according to the size of inner circle of bottom piece of hat.
Add few strips of white tape at proper distance having two inch more length than the red sheet. Now role it and join it with help of two inches length of white tape strips leaving sticky side of tape on both sides.
Cut the sticky side of edge into .5 inch wide pieces.
Pass the rolled res and white sheet from the bottom piece hole and stick it with sticky edge pieces. Secure the top with pieces of white tape.
You may add a layer of white tape to the brim for giving it more neat finish.
